Lamborghini Murcielago successor: first details and specs revealed

As you may know already, Lamborghini is currently working on a Murcielago successor, but it appears that some lucky guys had the chance to see the prototype this week in Singapore. According to a lucky person who saw the car in the flesh, it appears that the new supercar from the Italian manufacturer will be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine, capable to deliver 700 hp and a whooping 680 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. Furthermore, the car will use a completely new seven-speed single clutch gearbox with two automode, but we do expect a dual-clutch gearbox when the production version car will arrive.
In addition, the car will also be lighter comparing it with the current model, as it will use a carbon fiber monoque chassis, as well as an F1 style suspension on the rear. The interior of the car will also be completely new and will include new gadgets. Regarding the performances, same source says that the new car will be capable to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, while the top speed will be limited to 350 km/h or 217 mph.
And now the big surprise: although several sources confirmed the fact that the new model will drop the so-called Lambo doors, it seems that the car will receive a new type of doors, different to other cars, but they will go up when opened.
