Lamborghini Murcielago successor teased ahead of 2010 Paris Motor Show

If yesterday it was just a rumor, today it became official: the replacement of the Lamborghini Murcielago supercar will make its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, on September 30. Dubbed Jota, the new car was already showed to VIP customers and dealers back in July, but the specs and the official name will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show. Regarding its engine, the new car is expected to carry a powerful V12 powerplant capable to deliver over 700 hp. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds (or less) while the top speed will be limited at around 370 km/h or 230 mph. Regarding the design, the new car is expected to carry some style clues from the Reventon supercar. Also, it will be shorter than the current Murcielago and sources say that it will drop the well-known lambo doors but honestly to tell you we don’t believe this, as the doors represent the identity of a Lamborghini supercar.
