Lamborghini preparing technology concept for Paris, not Murcielago successor

Lamborghini Teaser Paris

Although all of us are expecting the Murcielago successor at this year’s Paris Motor Show, there are reports saying that Lamborghini will not unveil a new car, just a so-called ‘technology demonstrator’. Apparently, releasing two new models doesn’t make sense for Lamborghini, because it is a supercar manufacturer and these cars need lots of time to be developed. The new concept which will be unveiled in Paris, is expected to be manufactured using carbon fiber, while under the hood a V10 engine would do the trick as the car is lighter than other Lambo models.

The good news is that the technology which will be seen on this concept will also be introduced into the future products of the Italian manufacturer. More details regarding the new Lamborghini concept will be unveiled by the manufacturer on September 30th. Still, there are reports saying that two new models, dubbed LB715-5 and 83X, will be shown tomorrow at a private meeting with dealers in Italy.

The LB715-5 is rumored to be the successor of the Murcielago, powered by a V12 engine delivering 715 hp. Regarding the other concept, sources confirmed the fact that it could be a new sedan in order to take on the Porsche Panamera, or even a successor of the Gallardop, introduced 7 years ago.
