A Lamborghini spokesman denies reports by Italian media that an SUV will be displayed at the Beijing Motor Show this March, describing it as merely “speculation.” According to Italian magazine Quattroruote, the car is being promoted as a spiritual successor to the LM002. It is based on the next generation Porsche Cayenne platform and will feature Aventador-influenced styling. The report said that a detuned V10 that came from the Gallardo will be used on this car. But then, a hybrid model is still possible. In an interview with Autocar, the spokesman said that that there are many rumors on what the third model line in Beijing would be but he can’t confirm yet what its plans are for an Estoque saloon or SUV.
