Lamborghini to open 11 dealerships in China this year

Lamborghini Urus SUV Concept

In order to boost its sales in China, Lamborghini is planning to add 11 stores in China this year. For those who don’t know, the Italian carmaker currently has 14 dealerships in the country but its CEO Stephan Winkelmann wants even more despite flat sales in China. Within few years, Lambo’s sales in China could grow even further if the manufacturer will build the Urus SUV Concept unveiled back in April at the Beijing Auto Show. The SUV is expected to become firm’s best selling model in China, the United States, Europe, Russia and the Middle East. But the SUV’s job might not be so easy after all, as Bently is also planning to introduce a new model inspired by the EXP 9 F Concept. Still, these models will be fighting against the Maserati Kubang. The market leader remains the Porsche Cayenne. If built, the Lamborghini Urus SUV will hit the market in 2015. The new car will be powered by a V10 engine delivering around 400 kW / 600 hp and according to the manufacturer it will offer the CO2 figure of all comparable vehicles.
