Sources told Teamspeed that Lamborghini has a surprise planned for the Geneva Motor Show this March. They say that this won’t be the replacement for the Gallardo. It also won’t be a hypercar that’s positioned above the Aventador so the Aventador Roadster has been ruled out. A major possibility is a concept car version of the third model. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said that the production version will appear only after two years but he promised that the company will decide on the third model by early 2012 and that when this happens, “we will show something.” But then, it’s possible that the surprise model is the “production” Sesto Elemento or the Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni Bicolore Spyder Performante. Sources also said that it’s possible that the Aventador Roadster would be presented at the Geneva Show too.
