2012 Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography
Land Rover will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Range Rover this year by introducing three Special Editions of the company’s flagship vehicle. In addition to the enhanced 2012 Range Rover, Land Rover will include these special edition units: the TDV8 Westminster, TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography. The TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography highlight the company’s aspiration to cross ultimate luxury and bold design. The two special editions are fitted with the Range Rover Design Pack, which is a collection of exterior styling features fitted to match the vehicles bold appearance, without doing away with the classic lines. The Range Rover Design Pack includes: new front and rear bumpers, side vent treatments, ‘Titan’ silver front grille, integrated stainless steel exhaust finishers, side skirts and fog lamp surrounds. The special edition vehicles also sport 20-inch alloy wheels in Shadow Chrome finish.
The vehicles’ interior undermines Land Rover’s commitment to provide luxury and comfort with the Range Rover Seat Style Pack. The pack includes rear seats with recline and lumbar adjustment; multi-adjustable aircraft-style headrests with wings for added support and heating and cooling functions heating and cooling functions. It also includes a passenger "front seat away" function that offers a simple control for extra rear legroom. The front passenger seat is installed with a memory function than remember up to three personalized settings.
Both TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography special editions are mounted with the 19-speaker, 1,200W harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system with illuminated treadplates. Buyers can choose between seven exterior finishes, along with an extensive range of interior color and trim combination options. The TDV8 Autobiography is still powered by the Range rover standard 4.4-litre engine with eight-speed automatic transmission while the Supercharged Autobiography is ran by a 5.0-litre LR-V8 petrol unit with six-speed automatic gearbox. The 2012 Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography are priced at £84,295 and £86,895 respectively.
