Ok, it sounds a little bit crazy, but it appears that an Italian company wants to build a Fiat 500 powered by the V8 engine found on the Ferrari 458 Italia. Lazzarini Design released the first renderings with the car dubbed the 550 Italia. Due to the extreme engine, the 550 Italia was completely upgraded and comes with a new body kit consisting of a new front bumper, new side sills, a very big rear spoiler and a new rear apron with integrated exhaust system and air diffuser. Found in the trunk of the car, the 4.5-liter V8 engine delivers 542 hp, which means that it was detuned as Lazzarini Design had to optimize traction. On the Ferrari 458 Italia, the engine delivers 578 hp and it is capable to push the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds while the maximum speed is in excess of 325 km/h (203 mph).
