Leaked: 2010 Ford Grand C-MAX

More images of the seven-seat Ford Grand C-MAX have leaked with just several days more to go before the Frankfurt Motor Show begins. Based on the new 2010 Ford C-MAX, the Grand C-MAX uses Ford's 'kinetic' design, which was also adopted by the five-seat model. The five-seat and the seven-seat models styling is basically identical, except that the seven-seat is longer and has a sliding rear door and a redesigned greenhouse. It's also noticeable that the sloping roof was modified to allow for larger headroom for third row passengers. The cabin appears luxurious and modern. A massive control knob, which operates a small display screen, dominates the button-intensive dash. Other features of the seven-seat Grand C-MAX include contrast stitching, a separate display for climate control functions, and a push button ignition. The choice of available engines includes petrol and diesel units from Focus and Kuga, as well as Ford's new 1.6-liter EcoBoost. Ford may be bringing the C-Max to North America. However, nothing has been made official.
