Leaked: 2011 Ford GT500 order guide

Ford has yet to release details surrounding the 2011 GT500 but the Internet is all abuzz about what appears to be a leaked order form for next year's Shelby uploaded by a user on the enthusiast forum ModularFords. If this is authentic, we should expect the next iteration of Ford's baddest Mustang to feature electric power steering, standard HID headlamps, Ford's safety-minded MyKey, and an aluminum-block 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 as standard equipment. Presently, the 2010 GT500 uses a similar engine, but with an iron block mated with aluminum heads.
Power ratings for the revised engine are still unknown but it's likely that it will produce at least 540 hp, which is what the current supercharged 5.4-liter is able to produce. If you want the best performance, there is an optional SVT performance pack, which claims to add a 3.73 limited-slip rear axle, staggered forged wheels (19-inchers in front, 20-inch rims in back), unique suspension tuning and dampers, a new shift knob, and a spoiler with a Gurney flap. According to the leaked document, a convertible GT500 will be available, and other options are to include a glass roof, along with Shaker 500 and 1000 sound systems.
