As you may know already Infiniti announced the new 2011 QX for this year's New York Auto Show... Well, here it is! This is the brand new 2011 Infiniti QX! Clearly inspired by the all-new 2010 Nissan Patrol, the new QX promises to make quite a buzz on the automotive market!
According to our sources, the 2011 Infiniti QX is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 engine with Infiniti’s VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) and Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) system with a refined 7-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers 400 hp and offers the vehicle a towing capacity rated at 8,500 pounds for both 2WD and 4WD models.
Infiniti will also offer the new Hydraulic Body Motion Control system for both 2WD and 4WD models as part of the Deluxe Touring Package, which includes 22-inch wheels and a number of other features.
“We’re excited to be here in New York for the global debut of the Infiniti QX, a world-class vehicle that spotlights Infiniti’s inspired design, performance, technology and craftsmanship,” said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Business Unit. “The new QX gives us an incredible presence in full-size performance luxury SUVs – perfect for buyers seeking style, comfort, roominess and driving exhilaration.”
Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the new model, but we will receive them soon, so stay tuned!
