2013 Mazda MX-5 Facelift

It appears that fans will have to wait for the next-generation Mazda MX-5 a little bit longer, as the Japanese manufacturer is preparing a second facelift for the MX-5. Many of you already know that the popular roadster received a makeover back in 2008 and it seems that now it will receive the second one. Revealed through a leaked brochure, the new Mazda MX-5 comes with a new front bumper featuring a redesigned grille, newly designed fog lamp surrounds and new black bezels for the headlamps. Moreover, the new MX-5 will get a new active-hood, that can pop up in case of pedestrian accidents in order to reduce injuries. According to the brochure, the revised MX-5 will also get new wheels, a redesigned dashboard and black-out instrument panel gauges. [source: Carscoop via MX5co]
