Images of the all-new 2014 Mazda 3 have leaked online, thanks to AutoExpress. It was slated to debut next summer. Mazda said that these are merely digital renderings of the 2014 Mazda3 that would show how the Kodo design language would appear on a new Mazda3. Nevertheless, it gives us strong hints of what the 2014 Mazda 3 will be like. Mazda is currently overhauling its range. It plans to feature the Kodo design language first seen on the Shinari concept. Mazda is working for the new Mazda3 to weigh just 2,650 lbs. It also hopes to achieve a 40-mpg highway rating. The car would probably be powered by an updated version of the current SkyActiv 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that delivers 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. It will also be available with a 189-hp 2.5-liter SkyActiv. It may also be offered with the same 2.2-liter diesel that will arrive in the U.S. inside the new Mazda6.
