Photos of the latest Kia VG luxury saloon concept were recently released in advance of its showing at the upcoming Seoul Motor Show. The front-wheel drive executive saloon with common underpinnings with the Hyundai Azera will be on sale in Korean this autumn and will hit US markets next year. The Kia VG production variant will sit atop the Kia Magentis. Power under the hood will be provided by either a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter unit or a 3.8-liter V6 powerplant. A company spokesman revealed that the VG will most probably not reach the UK since there would be little interest for the car there. Instead, for its UK market, Kia will be concentrating on the Magentis, a car designed Peter Schreyer who is a former Audi designer and currently design boss for Kia. The Magentis is considered by Kia as the ideal car for the UK in terms of size and value for its price.
