As expected before a big auto show like the one from Geneva, several world premieres are spoiled by some sources who want to reveal the auto fans the latest vehicles on the market before the manufacturers do it. Same thing happened with the Lexus CT 200h, which was set to make its official debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show. Apparently someone sent the brochure of the new hybrid hatchback from Lexus, revealing almost all the technical data as well as the design of the new car. Based on the LF-Ch Concept which was introduced back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the new CT 200h will carry an 1.8-liter four-cylinder VVT-i petrol engine as well as a magnet synchronous electric motor. No data regarding the power of the engines was released but the manufacturer describes it as "powerful." The engine is mated to a electrically-controlled continuously variable transmission or E-CVT.
