Opel Insignia Sports Tourer Crossfour

It is rumored that Opel is building an Insignia Sports Tourer Crossfour to rival Audi's A4 Allroad and VW's Passat Alltrack cross variants. Opel tuning arm Irmscher, which designed the vehicle, released official images of this simple new Insignia Crossfour variant. What it is basically is an Insignia wagon with contrasting gray body trim, front and rear faux skid plates, and optional height adjustable suspension.

It is available as an all-wheel drive vehicle with FlexRide (Adaptive Stability Technology) and a rear locking differential. A special Sportive trimline is available exclusively for the soft-roader.

In Germany, it is priced at 35,155 euros for 160 PS (158 bhp / 118 kW) 2.0-liter CDTi with Start/Stop. Meanwhile, a price tag of 37,971 euros is attached to a 6-speed automatic transmission with the same engine. For just 37,655 euros, the buyer gets the 2.0-liter biturbo petrol engine with 195 PS (192 bhp / 143 kW) that features Start/Stop. [source: Worldcarfans]
