Opel Insignia OPC
A leaked photo of the Opel Insignia/Vauxhall Insignia VXR shows the same vertical front air intake vents that was highlighted in the Opel GTC Concept introduced back in 2007 at the Geneva Motor Show which exhibited the design language of the Insignia models. Expected power will come from a twin turbocharged V6 generation in the neighborhood of 320 hp (239 kW). The car is a 4-wheel-drive resting on 255/35 R20 rubber. Opel reports that prototypes of the OPC/VRX running the Nurburgring test gave only a little over eight minutes compared to the BMW M3 and Audi R8 both of which posted 8 minutes and 10 seconds. The car will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show with the production model possibly showcasing at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
