Ok, this is not hot news because we already knew the fact that Porsche was thinking of a convertible version of the Panamera sedan but today this was confirmed by the leaked patents of the new car. The new car will come without the traditional B-pillar but has required substantial stiffening to the floorpan as well as bulkheads in order to ensure sufficient structural rigidity and integrity. Regarding the idea of a four-door convertible we can say that this has an advantage because it offers the same interior space as the saloon but if Porsche will build this car... we shall see about its success!
