Lexus LF-A N24 race car officially revealed

The first official photos of the Lexus LF-A concept cars that will compete at the Nurburgring 24 Hours this weekend have been released. The Japanese carmaker Lexus has entered the two cars, which has still to get a nod for production, under the banner of Gazoo Racing. The goal of the Toyota-owned, e-commerce website Gazoo is to bridge new relationship between cars and people in the new IT age. The source of power for the Lexus LF-A racers is a 500bhp V10 and will compete with a combination of Toyota's race and test drivers and dealers. Driving one of the cars is Toyota's future CEO, Akio Toyodo, who will be using Morizo as his pseudonym. Toyoda, the 52 year-old grandson of the found of Toyota has competed at the race for the past couple of years and Andre Lotterer, the former F1 test driver, will be one of his three co-pilots.
