Lexus LFA pricing announced: $12,400 per month… plus extra!
If you’ve wanted to get your hands on the Lexus LFA but you were worried about the costs, don’t be…as the figures are right here. First, you have to put up a $60,000 deposit before leasing the $375,000 car.
Then, you would need to pay $237,562.56 in two years of lease payments. There is a remaining balloon payment of $93,750 due to keep the vehicle. So far, that totals to $391,312.56. To this amount, you would have to add a $700 acquisition fee, taxes, paperwork, and any other options you might want. Continued after the jump!
A matte paintjob will cost you $20,000, colored stitching is priced from $10,000, polished finish on the wheels is $2,500, and painted brake calipers are for $1,000. If these amounts don’t dissuade you one bit, take note that you have to wait for a notification telling you that you can buy the car.
Then you’re required to put up $10,000. After a credit check, you need to make another $50,000 deposit, and submit to a second credit exam just before delivery. If a dealer decides to waive the deposit, you would pay $12,398.44 every month for 24 months, and then pay the same balloon payment.
Of course, any deposit demanded would be applied against the monthly costs. Powering the Lexus LFA is a 4.8-liter V10 engine that delivers 552hp (560 PS / 412 kW). Mated to a six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox, the car can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and hit a top speed of over 200 mph. Only 500 examples will be made of this car. Orders are accepted until June.
