Lexus working on a lighter IS-F Evolution

Best Car recently reported that there seems to be a new upmarket Lexus IS-F in the making. Called the IS-F Evolution by the people over at 7Tune, the chief focus of the Lexus on this performance based IS-F is utter reduction in weight. Some of the measures to bring this about are carbon fiber front bumper, widebody fenders, and a rear bumper.
The interior comes with a couple of carbon leather Recaro racing seats at the front and a full carbon center console for further weight reduction. Following the carbon theme are carbon ceramic brakes for high-performance stopping power with new "special color Sport Design wide wheels" come as standard. From what can be observed the IS-F trim seems to be quite similar to the GTR Spec V treatment with the only difference is the price tag. The Spec V comes with a price tag of about $170,000 while the IS-F will come closer to $200,000. There will only be around 500 IS-Fs that will be manufactured annually. [source 7tune]
