The development of its carbon fiber bodied LF-A super vehicle will not be set aside by Lexus in spite of the news that its competition, Honda, has already shelved its program to create an heir to the NSX. The announcement was made as parent company Toyota also established its commitment to the Formula One World Championship. It is believed that quite a limited number of LF-A versions will be produced this year, principally to take part in the different racing championships around the globe.
