Honestly to tell you we’re getting bored with these Lamborghini teasers. Too many, and clueless… although some say that this is only a so-called technology demonstrator, built in order to show the design directions of the Italian supercar manufacturer. Dubbed ‘Lightening technologies’, the new teaser (5th) shows the use of carbon fiber which will be used by Lamborghini in order to make its cars lighter and faster.
Some sources say that the new concept will show how Lamborghini will make its cars lighters, using plenty of carbon fiber. Furthermore, it is believed that this new concept will be powered by a smaller V10 engine (usually Lamborghini supercars are powered by a V12 engine – excepting the smaller Gallardo of course, which carries a 5.2-liter V10 engine), but powerful enough to maintain the same performances.
Expect a sprint from 0 to 100 km (62 mph) in less than 3.0 seconds and a top speed in excess of 320 km/h (200 mph). Apparently, Lamborghini will use carbon fiber also at the interior, as it was shown in a previous teaser (which can be seen in the photo gallery), so expect lighter sports buckets as well as a new carbon fiber dashboard.
