Since it was launched in 2009, the Lincoln MKT three-row premium utility has provided innovative infotainment, modern design as well as greater flexibility. While its initial manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $44,300 is still unchanged from the 2011 model with an efficient 3.7-liter V6 engine, the one with the all-wheel-drive and efficient 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 now starts at $46,295, which is the same initial price of the 3.7-liter V6 with all-wheel drive from last year that has been discontinued.
Additionally, customers of luxury vehicles can more easily configure the Lincoln MKT that is right for them, as the amount of the orderable combinations was reduced by two-thirds. The sophisticated and powerful twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 provides the power of a naturally aspirated V8 with V6 fuel economy.
In addition, the sophisticated all-wheel drive system boosts the capability in a variety of weather conditions, utilizing an innovative array of internal electromechanical clutches to efficiently distribute torque between rear and front wheels as needed. Furthermore, the EcoBoost V6 delivers a class-leading 355 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 350 lb.-ft. of torque from 1,500 through 5,250 rpm.
