Up for sale on eBay Motors is one of Lincoln's concept cars, the Sentinel luxury sedan study from the 1996 Detroit Auto Show! Priced at $48,500, it is claimed that the concept car has fused styling traits from classic vehicles. The front end styling is similar to that of Renault's Vel Satis luxury model. The Sentinel, a static showpiece, was made on a rolling chassis without an engine and a proper interior. Incidentally, the Sentinel showcar has been listed for auction previously. In April, O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln-Mercury in Hardeeville, South Carolina, was unsuccessful in selling the concept study for $80,000.
