Lingenfelter Performance offers Supercharger Package for Dodge Challenger

2011 Dodge Challenger

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) is offering a new Challenger Supercharger Package that increases the performance of the 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger. This package is available for Hemi 5.7L and 6.1L engines, featuring a Magnuson TVS 2300 intercooled supercharger system, in black powdercoat finish, a 160 degree thermostat, properly sized fuel injectors and a high flow air intake system. Owners may also opt for a chrome upgrade to the supercharger case. After conducting baseline testing on a Mustang chassis dyno, it was determined that the 6.1L Challenger has an output of 373 rear wheel horsepower and 355 lb.-ft. of torque. But with supercharger enhancements, the LPE-tuned 6.1L Challenger was able to deliver 500 rear wheel horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque at 6 psi boost.

Owner Ken Lingenfelter said that its engineering specialists can tune the Challengers to offer improved performance, as proven by the Lingenfelter 6.1L Challenger running a best record of 12.03-seconds at 120 mph at the Muncie Dragway in Indiana. He said that the tuning company has more than 30 years of expertise in fine-tuning engines and so it is able to provide “more speed, greater power and enhanced overall performance” for the car enthusiasts.

What Lingenfelter offers enthusiasts is a turnkey package, which includes installation, testing, custom calibration, and before and after chassis dyno reports that document the improvements. Installing the Dodge Challenger Supercharger Package takes 1-2 weeks with a pre-scheduled appointment. It comes with Lingenfelter's 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, Lingenfelter’s certificate of authenticity and Lingenfelter fender badges.
