The German tuning house Lorinser generally comes out with subtle yet effective modifications on their cars rather than the more sensational paths that others have taken. However, there are rare times when they too could also come out with something immediately recognizable, such as the Lorinser LV8.
The car is based on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with 332kW (451hp), but Lorinser has bumped that up and now the car is capable of 368kW (500hp) with top torque of 630Nm. Acceleration rate has improved and now it can hit 100km/h from standstill in 4.3 seconds to reach a maximum speed of 320km/h. The Lorinser LV8 sits atop 255/35 18 Continental rubber and a special Lorinser exhaust system. Included in the aero kit are spoiler bumpers and side sills. The company says that the car meets all the registration requirements for road cars. The Lorinser LV8 will be coming out on June 26 and 27 at the Tuner Grand Prix on the Hockenheimring.Photo gallery after the jump!
