Lotus Evora becomes popular among celebrities

Before the Evora made its appearance in mid 2008, for 13 years Lotus had not unwrapped a really new car since the Elise/Exige, rather it contented itself with unique, high performance versions. Lately, the Evora has been unveiled, and because its 2+2 setup generates more practicality and space in contrast to its siblings designed for the track, it has become popular among celebs all over the world. Among those on the list, among many others, are Jay Leno, London Mayor Boris Johnson, Daniel Craig (a.k.a. James Bond), Pierce Brosnan, musician Jay Kay, Richard Hammond and James May, Beyonce, Dave Grohl, George Clooney, Kevin Spacey and Patrick Dempsey. Although the low-postured Evora may offer more cargo room and easier entrance-exit compared to the Elise or Exige, nevertheless it was still designed and developed with Lotus performance in mind. The 3.5-liter V6 produces 276 hp (206 kW), and sharp handling comes from the bonded aluminum frame provides light-yet-stiff construction.
