Two years ago Lotus made quite a buzz with its stunning concepts unveiled at the Paris Motor Show (2015 Elise, 2013 Esprit, 2013 Elan, 2014 Elite, 2015 Eterne and CIty Car Concept), but this year it appears that things will change as the British manufacturer will not be present at the well-known French show. According to Autocar, the new Lotus owner a.k.a. DRB-HICOM is making sure that it will use its money in most productive and cost-effective way. According to the Lotus spokesman, Lotus is currently working on new cars, which require funding and these are considered a priority (fair enough!). We agree… we’d like to see some new cars from Lotus instead of same old @$%^. For those folks who don’t know, Lotus has also a new CEO as Dany Bahar was fired after using company’s money for its own purposes. Still, these are some bad news for the company as Bahar had big plans and under his arm the company created an interesting business plan and some jaw-braking concepts.
