Lotus presents ‘Safe & Sound’ Hybrid technology

Recently, Lotus has been inspired to devise a system that can recreate the sound of a normal car. This is because of the disenchantment of the world in relation to the difficulty in hearing a car coming especially while crossing the street. This concern has raised the problem of it becoming mandatory for hybrid vehicles despite its being preferred by TV gangsters for drive-by shootings.
The car runs very silently when it is driving on electric power alone. According to a transport Ministry official, people agree that hybrid vehicles are dangerous especially to the vision impaired that relies on sounds while walking. Thus, a panel composed of scholars, vision impaired groups, consumers, police and the automobile industry has been created by the Japanese government to look into this matter.
One solution is to create a device for creating sound to ensure that people can hear a vehicle coming. Lotus' breakthrough called Safe and Sound, has this attribute and is now available in the market. Nevertheless, no hybrid vehicles have made use of it.
