Jonathan Mason is the winning bidder for a new 2011 Chevy Camaro SS on a recently launched penny auction site for only $5.28. FastPennyCars.com, a Frankenmuth-based business first went live last Saturday. The first to be auctioned was the Camaro. It attracted 82 bidders from 16 states. About 75 minutes after the auction opened at noon, Mason was announced as the winning bidder. Mason got his car last Monday at Bavarian Motors, 422 N. Main in Frankenmuth. This is the dealership that sold the car, priced at $35,255, to FASTpennycars for the auction. Mason said that as soon as he heard about the auction, he immediately bought several bids.
