Mansory G-Couture

Whenever Mansory is mentioned, it never fails to capture the interest of true car fans. The German tuning firm has been on the news repeatedly for its unique creations, and this time, it has outdone itself with its release of the state-of-the-art G-Couture. This model, which was designed with fashion designer Philipp Plein, will be limited to seven units. Pricing has not yet been disclosed but it probably won't be a good idea to set your sights on owning one since it's likely to be priced way beyond most people's budget.

Like all Mansory cars, the G-Couture's exterior is stylish and luxurious. Carbon is used in its entire exterior up to the lower window edge and the roof of the SUV, contributing to the overall performance of the car. Mansory said that it has used the autoclave-prepreg-method, which compresses the carbon so strongly in a special pressure chamber that no more air inclusions remain in the material.

Due to the cost, this is a processing method only used in aviation and aerospace. Mansory has replaced most of the parts with the high-performance components from the Mercedes-Benz SLR. Doing so enabled the car to generate 700 hp (515 kW) as compared to 507 hp (373 kW) of the G 55 AMG. In addition, the maximum torque has been increased from 700 to 880 Newton meters.
