Previously only connected with producing performance tires, the tuning brand Marangoni has gone a bit hyper on an Alfa Romeo Mi.To by carrying the Italian luxury mini car to an astonishing new level. From its 1.4T-Jet engine they were able to squeeze out 220 hp /164kW, an improvement of 65hp /48kW from the typical turbo vehicle. These figures are similar to the Ford Focus ST and Renault Megane RS R27. Production of power is claimed to have been attained from very low RPMs on the diminutive pocket rocket which Marangoni names the M430.
Artistic cosmetic alterations include height reduction in excess of 4cm, installing scissor-style doors infusing an assortment of air inlets with the body, a rear end diffuser and four exhaust pipes. Its red low-silhouette tires, measuring 18 inches, fit both exterior and interior theme.
The chief competitor of the MiTo MINI's most recent restricted version unit was the 2006 MINI GP, which made a formidable 220 hp from its 1.6-liter powerhouse. Marangoni may have just provided Alfa something very substantial to work on.
