Maserati planning a new model based on the Alfa Romeo 4C

Maserati is known for its elegance as well as its charm. There are rumors that the Italian company is capitalizing on these characteristics as it aims to build its own model that will be based on the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV was recently tested while powered with the 1.75 TBi engine that was modified to develop more power.
The unit was shifted to a central position so that the “sub-tonic” car will have excellent handling to match its appearance.
Previous reports indicate that Abarth will be building its own version of the 4C. This fuels speculations that Abarth would make a sportscar underpinned by the KTM X-Bow’s chassis (which the 4C also uses).
