At the 2010 Australian International Auto Show, Maserati unveiled the Quattroporte Sport GT S with the MC Sport Line package. As you can see from the photos, the new car received stylistic elements of the MC Sport Line option package, showing better looks but still keeping the character of Maserati luxury sport sedan. The new Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS MC Sport Line replaces the wood trim found in the standard version with carbon fiber, found across the dashboard, the front and rear centre console, as well as on the sections of the door panels, the gear knob and around the switchgear.
In addition, the carbon fiber is used around the instrument pack and on the gearchange paddles. Furthermore, the door sills are fitted with carbon fiber trim panels embossed with the MC Sport Line logo. The same logo is stamped into the aluminum brake pedal.
“The MC Sport Line equipment package is developed from the experience of Maserati Corse – Maserati factory-owned racing department – and Maserati winning motorsport programmes, both with the Maserati MC12 – once again this year leading the FIA GT1 World Championship – and the GranTurismo MC in its Trofeo and GT4 versions. The MC Sport Line, first launched on the GranTurismo S with electro-actuated gearbox – is now available across the GranTurismo and Quattroporte ranges.” stated the press release.
