The 12C Spider, the second model in the lineup, will be seen at the inaugural Windsor Concours of Elegance as part of a four car McLaren display. This is both its European debut as well as its first royal event. The 12C Spider will be unveiled at the Windsor Castle. The 12C Spider was recently unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. But after this, the 12C Spider (which has a striking Volcano Yellow finish) will be presented as part of a lineup that represents McLaren Automotive, McLaren GT and McLaren Racing. These models form a diverse group of the rarest and exclusive road and racing cars to be displayed at the Windsor Castle, which lends a regal backdrop that’s very dramatic. Another example of the 12C Spider is set to be presented on September 9 as a part of the Octane Jubilee Tour of Elegance. In celebration of the Queen’s 60 years as the monarch, one automotive icon will be featured for each year. Concluding the parade is the 12C Spider, which stands for 2012 -- the Diamond year of The Queen’s reign. British actor Henry Cavill from the upcoming Superman movie will drive the 12C Spider, which is also known as the ambassador of the ‘Make Britain GREAT’ campaign. The GREAT campaign has been designed to re-affirm Britain’s international image and offer long-term financial benefits via boosts to its trade, tourism, and education.
