The McLaren F1 successor that is set to appear at the Paris Motor Show in September may make an appearance next month at Pebble Beach. According to a McLaren owner, some clients have seen the brand’s two completed models that are already set for the event. This source also said that McLaren’s new halo car can produce over 1,000 hp and it will use more carbon fiber than the MP4-12C. The successor doesn’t look anything like the 12C, which has drastic features that are a huge departure from the unexciting and cliché supercar body style. It uses the 12C’s 3.8-liter engine but this type of power boost is too low, considering the powerplant’s 592-hp rating. It can sprint from zero to 60mph in 2.5 seconds, making it the quickest-accelerating road car ever throughout the world. But then, TopGear’s notorious F1 versus Veyron battle wasn’t able to convince the brand to attempt to get the top speed title.
