What is shown prominently is the MP4-25, which got the attention of media and fans alike.
With this 2010 challenger, there are hopes of a possible world title in the series. The car‚ livery has the same silver-like paint scheme, along with the Vodafone-logo in red. We see a shark-fin engine cover that extends all the way to the rear wing, a feature not used by the team on their predecessor MP4-24 model. Team principal Martin Whitmarsh cited a quote from Alexander Graham Bell who said preparation is key to success.
The carmaker apparently prepared for this season more comprehensively than ever before. Whitmarsh also talked about being honored to represent this great team. He also pointed out that he is just “one small part of a group of dedicated and fantastic people.”
To achieve success, Whitmarsh said that there has to be a ‚Äúgreat team and a competitive car‚Äù and of course, the ‚Äúbest drivers.‚Äù There‚ really no need to introduce the team‚ two drivers (Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button) as these two have won the last two world championships. Whitmarsh added that he is ‚Äúthrilled‚Äù to have Lewis and Jenson represent the team on track.
