These are the new Actros Edition Black Liner and White Liner, the most exclusive and attractive form of star-branded long-distance truck. The designs of these models were made by Mercedes-Benz itself. These models, which will be launched at the Frankfurt trucking show this September, are expected to boost Mercedes' aging Actros line. The trucks get distinctive metallic black or white paints, as well as a contrasting double racing stripe down the front of the cab. Mercedes also placed chromed trim accents and LED driving lights and an illuminated three-point star logo. For its interior, quilted leather is used on the seats, door panels, dash topper, cab walls, and basically, every other surface that can handle the material. The dash vents get wood trim and a power sunroof brings in some of the pleasant light. Mercedes produced only 500 examples and by the looks of it, the Actros Edition models won’t be arriving at US dealerships anytime soon since in the US, the biggest Mercedes-badged vehicle the company sells is a Sprinter.
