Mercedes-Benz presents new bike sports selection for 2009/2010

The famous German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has made it public that they are coming out with a modernized and extended range of bicycles for this year and the next. The latest bicycle lineup consists of two wheeled bikes of all sorts plus a couple of bikes for kids. Mountain bikes and road racing bikes will be offered for adult buyers. Included in the lineup are folding bikes that can be folded or collapsed without the use of tools.
When the bike is folded thus, it only takes up about 31 inches by 31 inches by 14 inches. It comes with both front and rear suspension. Other kinds of bikes would include the trekking and fitness bikes. Mercedes also offers riding apparel.
Well-known for its engineering prowess, Mercedes-Benz products may come with a high price tag, for instance the bikes sell for 299 Euros ($430) for the kid's bike and 4,999 Euros ($7,150+) for the limited-edition racing bike constructed from carbon fiber.
