Mercedes-Benz reveals its AMG Sports package for the 2009 S-Class and the CL-Class

Mercedes-Benz released today the AMG Sports package for the 2009 S-Class and the CL-Class. The new package includes a front apron with larger air intakes, a rear apron with a striking black insert and integrated, rectangular tailpipe trim in polished stainless steel is also eye-catching, new side sills but also the well known 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with a five-spoke (20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels are available as an option in a twin-spoke design).
The vehicles receive new perforated brake discs and silver-painted brake callipers featuring Mercedes-Benz lettering while the V6 models have a more generously proportioned braking system. Inside, the manufacturer offers wood and the wood/leather steering wheel, but also new velour floor mats with AMG lettering and sports pedals in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs.
According to the manufacturer the new AMG Sports package is available for all S-Class models with a short or long wheelbase, as well as for the CL 500 and CL 500 4MATIC at a price between EUR 5831 and EUR 7973 (including 19% VAT). The new package will be available from June 2009.
