Mercedes-Benz to auction last SLR Roadster in the U.S.

Two weeks ago we told you that Mercedes-Benz is going to sell the last SLR Roadster with the help of Saks Fith Avenue. The last SLR will feature Sienna Pearl metallic paint and Tobacco Brown leather and with a starting bid of $529,500 it is clear that someone who will buy it has to be a millionaire. Any money that shall surpass the starting bid will be donated to St Jude Children's Research Hospital and is already clear that it will be quite a "fight" over the car. Anyway, today we got lucky and received a new photo with the last vehicle that is going to be auction, and we got to say we are impressed by the looks of the stylish Sienna Pearl metallic paint but also by the Mercedes SLR Roadster itself. The vehicle features a supercharged V8 engine capable to deliver 617 hp providing a sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 331 km/h (206 mph).
