MG Motor UK opens a sales centre at its Birmingham plant

MG Motor UK is set to open a sales center at its Birmingham plant on September 30, 2011, Friday, coinciding with the final stages of "The Great British Charity Test Drive." The event has seen the latest fleets of MG vehicles touring the country as part of an initiative to raise funds and support Macmillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes. The opening of the new showcase sales center will be one of the largest Macmillan coffee mornings ever held wherein MG Motor UK will play host to invited VIPs and the media.
After the Macmillan event in the morning, employees and their families will engage in fun-filled activities in the afternoon that including children’s entertainment, face painting and bouncy castles. There will also be a miniature farm where kids can see and touch a variety of small animals. In addition, employees have the chance to try cake baking. Their efforts will be sold off to further have the finances for the Macmillan charity.
This event will last for a week. Everyone can enter the new MG Sales Centre and will have the chance to test drive the MG6 Magnette sports saloon and the MG6 GT fastback. MG Motor UK Marketing Manager Clint Cordle commented that they are marking this important milestone in the MG history with a fun-filled family event.
