MINI is all set to showcase an exhilarating range of models at the 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Expect to see the four-seater MINI Beachcomber Concept, which has a radically open body vehicle that combines maximum driving pleasure and great emotional experience. The all-wheel drive MINI Beachcomber Concept is designed without doors, conventional roof and all other body elements that limit contact between the passengers and the surroundings.
Instead, it has a soft roof and lightweight doors. The car rides on a set of extra-large light-alloy wheels, special body elements and generous springs. It is believed to symbolize the brand's significant values in new and more radical style. Among the highlights in the MINI booth at NAIAS will be also the ultra-clean and efficient MINI E, which represents the potential of the pure all-electric motoring free of CO2 emissions. Aside from the future models, MINI has prepared the MINI Clubman, and the new MINI Convertible for the Detroit show. MINI is intent on continuing to provide designed, versatile and up-to-date range of models to the US car market. Since the USA remains to be the world's single largest market for MINI, expect the brand to continue to expand its dealership network in the US in 2010.
