Mini preparing a notch-back version of the Speedster

It appears that Mini has some new models that will help it pass the financial crisis. As we told you few days ago, the manufacturer is currently preparing the Speedster model that will be unveiled at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, but apparently this is not all! Mini will also build a "notch-back coupe" version of the vehicle which will be based on the R56 derived platform. The coupe version will hit the market first and will be soon followed by the open-air model. [via motoringfile]
