MINI removes Countryman teaser to avoid confusion! Electric scooters coming!

MINI Concept Teaser

Yesterday MINI revealed the fact that on 23rd September, it will unveil a new design concept in the UK. Furthermore, a teaser photo was released, showing a MINI Countryman hidden under a cover. Today, an update regarding this design concept came from the British manufacturer and the teaser photo was replaced by a snapshot of a sketch showing an electric scooter concept. Yes, MINI will show its electric scooter concept and not a coupe or a John Cooper Works version of the Countryman crossover.

Apparently, the photo was removed from firm’s Facebook account in order to avoid confusion. As you may know already, since we wrote about it yesterday in this article, the British firm will unveil at this year’s Paris Motor Show three electric scooter concepts. Still, MINI is expected to unveil the WRC version of the Countryman in Paris.

"Almost ten years to the day since the new MINI was first unveiled in Paris, you and your ‘owes you big time’ companion will get the opportunity to attend a global premiere of our newest design concept. The event will take place in central London and include a special guest star as well as Adrian van Hooydonk, BMW Group Head of Design who will unveil the new concept as part of an exclusive event during the London Design Festival. It’s so exclusive that we’ve only invited journalists and friends of MINI and you could be one of them!" this is what MINI said in its official press release regarding the event which will take place in London.
