Mini’s Coupe and Roadster could hit the streets by early 2011

There's no stopping MINI's Coupe and Roadster "twins" from hitting UK and European dealers in the beginning of 2011, with US sales starting immediately after. MINI is fast-tracking the design and development of the cars. We've seen them in Frankfurt and LA but so far, design tweaks have been made. Engineering is underway. According to insider sources, the first pre-production Coupes and Roadsters will arrive at the Oxford assembly line around June 2010. Initial batches of production of both cars are expected to start in October 2010. [via motoringfile]
