Mitsubishi ASX Compact Crossover revealed ahead of Geneva Motor Show

Mitsubishi unveiled today its ASX all-new compact crossover, a new vehicle which will make its official debut on March 2, at the 80th Geneva International Motor Show. The ASX will be the European-spec version of the Japanese RVR, revealed back in December and slated to go on sale in Japan from February 2010.. The new ASX will be a 5-seater and sequentially introduced in
European countries from late spring 2010, following the same path as the popular redesigned Outlander mid-size crossover.
Regarding the engines, the new ASX will use an all-new Euro 5-compliant 1.8L turbocharged direct-injection diesel engine featuring "Automatic Stop & Go" technology. Also, it will be matted to a 6-speed manual transmission. More details to be revealed in March, at the Geneva Motor Show!
