Mitsubishi pulls out from 2009 Detroit Auto Show
The 2009 Detroit Auto Show will open its doors at Cobo Hall eight weeks from now. It is reported that Mitsubishi won’t be there. Like other high-profile car companies, including Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, Ferrari, Suzuki, and Porsche, the Japanese automaker has pulled out due to cost.
The market for Mitsubishi cars in the Detroit area just isn’t large enough to necessitate the expenses in today’s ailing economy. The automaker’s action is pretty significant as the Detroit show is considered one of the most celebrated on the planet. However, missing out the 2009 car show doesn’t stop Mitsubishi from coming back in 2010.
