Mopar releases first sketches for the 44th Annual Easter Jeep Safari

Chrysler's Mopar accessories division has five new concepts in store for fans who are set to attend the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. This division usually uses an off-road theme for its show cars. These concept renderings are all that's available for enthusiasts to scrutinize as the details about the cars have not yet been announced.The Jeep J7 is based on the four-door Wrangler Unlimited and its styling is intended to resemble the military-spec J8 offered abroad. Built "for serious off-road duty," the two-door Wrangler Trail Boss has the appearance of a Rubicon equipped with giant wheels and tires and a sizable suspension lift. Its wheel/tire treatment is identical to that on the modified Ram Power Wagon, but it's apparent that the car is retro-inspired. The old "Macho" package, which was offered from 1977-1980, has the same blacked-out grille, cladding, and hood, coupled with the flared bedside and "POWERWAGON" side graphics. We will know soon enough how the compact Patriot performs on trails like Moab. It‚ likely though that this revised version, which is dubbed the "Extreme," will do well. Chrysler installed the car with 2-inch lift, 16-inch wheels with BF Goodrich KM2 tires, and custom rock rails and skid plates. Mopar officially unveils these cars in Moab on March 27.
